taken from Elizabethd’s blog, Small Moments
If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting fellow blogger Barbara,
it may be because you know her as Elizabethd.
Or you may recognize her blog by the simply elegant photo above.
I will forever recognize Barbara’s blog,
Small Moments,
because of this quote at the top of her sidebar.
For me, there is no better message.
And so when I had a chance to be in a stationary swap with Barbara as my
partner, I was honored.
She lives in Cornwall in an area that is breathtakingly beautiful.
When her package arrived I was taken back by the miles it had traveled.
Half the things she sent have been used- which were all in blues because she knows I love blue.
beautiful cards
2 blue pens
beautiful note cards
a chocolate candy bar (which I ate immediately)
It was like opening a breath of fresh air.
Thank you Barbara!
What lovely gifts. smiles
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun thing to do. She knew you well. :)
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile. When two of my favourite bloggers connect it give me a lovely little uplift. Barbara is well-known to me - since my very first blog post in 2007. She is a generous and gentle blogger and an inspiration for many reasons. I will have to blog about my swap package too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a special package from a very thoughtful and kind blogger. And how nice Elizabethd included a chocolate treat too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Laura! I enjoyed choosing what I hoped you would like, and blue is a colour that I associate with you always.
ReplyDeleteThe quote is so wonderful and true!!

It is the small moments that compose the majority of our lives. Beautiful post.
ReplyDeleteSo true! Love that gift. Have a blessed day dear Laura, hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet gift! It is indeed these small moments in life that bring so much LIFE to us. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteSweet gifts. Isn't it nice to get things you are thrilled to use? Small moments can become some of the most important times in our lives. When we look back and realize those small moments meant so much more than big things did.
