I once asked a friend what she did over the weekend, and she said,
“Played with my dishes.”
Using my own tried and true system, I looked at the colors on the cover of one of my favorite books.
I then found what worked in that color palette from around the house.
One thing always leads to another, but that is where the best ideas are.
Another tip? Blue and white is the great neutralizer.
It makes everything work.
I hope you will join us Monday for our Next Garden Party,
hosted by Thoughts of Home and Share Your Cup.
I can’t wait to see your latest projects
from ’playing’ in your garden
I love blue and white wherever possible. I have some lovely pieces of blue and white Thai china brought back by my daughter after a holiday there.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your swap has arrived by now?
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric on your desk chair, Laura! And blue and white really finishes it off. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful room, I would be honored to stay there, smiles. We turned our guest room into my dressing, makeup and study room. No pretty colors like you have though, sad to say, smiles. You, though, have given me inspiration. Have a lovely Saturday friend.
