Dear Daughters,
I may or may not have mentioned that the space bar on my relatively new computer does not work properly.
That means I have to correct every. single. sentence I write because the computer randomly decides which spaces between words are needed or not needed.
This is VERY irritating, and yes I am taking it in to be repaired.
However, because I am blogging again, I haven’t wanted to be without my computer for 3 weeks..
I am choosing to live in the land of irritability.
Here is the point ( and please stop rolling your eyes. Eventually there is a point).
Irritability, whatever the cause, is a slippery slope.
It is a place to avoid for extended visits.
It is usually a symptom of something else: a faulty space bar, lack of sleep, an imagined slight, or a little righteous indignation.
It may even be caused by a Dear Daughters post.
And now I have cracked myself up.
I hope you are laughing too.
The point is to find your own way to deal with it quickly and efficiently.
I love you,
Mom
Oh…I almost forgot.
There are remedies.
These work for me:
laughter , doing the next right thing even if it is a sink full of dishes, the idea that I need to get over it , and a prayer to say thank you and to keep my mouth shut.
Again,
I love you-
Mom

A slippery slope indeed.
And most contagious!
...it's best to find a distraction (ie: doing the next thing)
I have a run away mouse! We'll I did-- until I got this new USED computer!
That'll teach that pesky mouse.
I LOVE this post! And I am so happy you are blogging again my friend. Miss you!
No truer words could have been said this morning! It is the slipperiest of slopes. Have a great weekend! ;)
Those daughters are soaking in those wise words I am sure. You always give them (and us) the best things to think about!
What a cute and wise post! Happy weekend!
This is a fun dear daughters post, and I see your previous post has a zinnias photo. I love zinnias and have lots of tiny zinnias sprouting from seeds.
Well that space bar does sound like a challenge! UGH! :)
We have had similar challenges with our computer:) My Husband had a variety of letters that just didn't work! He ordered a new keyboard and recently he said it was doing it again:) Fortunately it didn't need another new keyboard! We have to deal with small problems throughout life, don't we! Sending hugs and (spaces) your way:)
Hahahaha! Love this post. You are a wonderful mom. :)
Happy day friend!

A new computer and a new basket for your flowers. I guess we can't cover ALL of our special topics even in the longest marathon visit!!!
Love your blog!!
These computers...always, always a challenge! You have the right answers and your sweet daughters are really learning so much from their smart and very wise mother!
Hugs, dear friend.
Nancy
