There are all sorts of paths to labeling what causes us to feel good and right about things.
Though I am not an expert , I am aware of the idea of the ‘5 love languages’, as a way I assume to identify what floats our emotional boat.
Are you about words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, or physical touch?
In honor of Mother’s Day, let’s add a few more, shall we?
I’ll go first.
Here are a few more love language additions that speak to me:
* digging in the dirt
*college football
*anything grandson related
*going to the flea market
*creating piles of things to give to any one of our 3 daughters
*anything Motown
*zinnias
*shoes that are cute and don’t hurt
*laughing

What are some of yours ?
Happy Mother’s Day weekend !

What a great post. I have many, some the same or similar to yours.
My granddaughters and daughter.
Just having time to sit on the patio in the swing and enjoy.
Reading a favorite author.
So many blessings in my life.
Yes, mine would be very much as yours, my three, soon to be four, Grans, preparing to move into our new house, a healthy balance of busy and not so busy. Just a few of the many. Wishing you a wonderful Mother's Day!
Much like yours Laura!
my wonderful thoughtful caring hubby!
our kids collectively
our grands; Three BIGS, 2 Littles
our furbabies
family..
dirt therapy
photography..
so thankful for being so blessed!
and for having wonderful blogging friends like YOU!
Yes to digging in the dirt for sure...a few weeks ago as an early Mother's Day present, my son dug 2 holes in the ground for 2 pine trees. Younger muscles...you know! That always speaks volumes! ;)
Wow! except for the college football...our lists mimic one another's.
I could insert Ranger Baseball-
and Chinese food; though not necessarily together.
Oh!and...
girl time with my grand-daughters (could include baking cooking, tandem hair brushing...all in a row
or mani- pedis on the front porch with ice tea!)
Happy Mother's Day
This is fun, Laura. I might add....
sorting embroidery thread(he)
wandering through Home Depot(I)
making a meal(we two!)
