I really wanted to use this paint.
And I really wanted to use this remnant of cobalt blue velveteen.
And I really wanted something shiny with a little funk to it to use in the bedroom.
And I know the risk I am taking
in continuing to post photos which include my daughter’s zebra rug,
because
even though
I want that too-
that want is not coming true.

I love it ....hope your daughter lets you keep that rig
ReplyDeleteNice job! I have a stool that needs a redo, but I keep putting in on the back burner. Maybe your daughter will forget you have the rug. :D
ReplyDeleteHope you are enjoying your weekend and staying cool.
So cute, Laura!! Hmmm...maybe you can work a trade for the rug!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday!
Hugs,
Becky
Oh I love the little stool and of course I love that rug too. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLOL, you're so funny. How cute! I'm glad you got *something that you wanted. :)
ReplyDeleteOh! that is a good combo.
ReplyDeletethat blue...so pretty.
...hmmm... tell your daughter your holding the rug for ransom... and you'll only take the rug as payment!
bwa-hahahahaha!
Pat
That turned out so well - it should not be separated from the Zebra rug. Ever.
ReplyDeleteI'm warning you...if you don't quit showing how fabulous that rug looks, she's gonna remember and come get it. And if she doesn't...I will!
ReplyDeleteDeb
I've used that paint on so many things. What is it about gold finishes...I can't resist them!
ReplyDeleteThat stool is beautiful with the royal blue...fit for a queen!
I think you are the boss of her
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute piece! Love it and the zebra rug! :o)
ReplyDeleteDare I say it is very RICH looking or is that too cheesy? Love it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteA little elegance with a little sass. That's a great combo for the little stool.
ReplyDeleteLove the stool! No comment on the rug as it will only draw more attention to it and then Lauren will suddenly say, "Mother, get your own rug!" Right?? lol
ReplyDeleteAs for the gold spray paint. You bring back fun memories of my grandmother "Jean" whom we claimed would spray us gold if we stood still long enough. She loved gold spray paint! Your stool turned out GREAT!
The start to a really good day... my first cup of coffee and a fresh post by you.

Beautiful:) Great job on sparkling up that stool! Have a blessed day dear Laura! What zebra rug, wink wink:)
ReplyDeleteStunning bench...with or without the rug...but we like it with!! ;)
ReplyDeleteEither one...zebra rug, lovely bench... would be fine with me!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour little stool looks great! I had a little aunt that loved gold spray paint. Once when I went to visit she had just spray painted her toothbrush:)
ReplyDeleteSurely she'll give up on getting it back soon.
