I loved these earrings so much.
Did anyone else have Anne Klein lion’s head door knocker earrings???
They were the perfect gold earring , especially when paired with a boyfriend length blazer
with shoulder pads and the sleeves pushed up.
What was so wrong with the 80’s???
Everyone knows door knocker earrings are the most flattering.
And shoulder pads…?
Well, lifting the eye UP is never a bad thing.
So, when I saw these knobs at a local cabinet shop,
I flipped, had a flashback
and bought them.
Next quest?
A boyfriend blazer and
some shoulder pads…

Yes! Loved those. I had a teacher who wore them every day, all four years I was in high school.
Oh my... I had ALL of those in my wardrobe! Never thought I could manage without the shoulder pads.
So fun to remember styles of by-gone days.

I had a pair like that too! My GFs and I would call our linebacker pads "Shoulda-ma-pads." You need a pair of dark ray-bans to go with them...

I had several pairs of door knocker earrings...no need for shoulder pads,though...football players would be proud to have mine!
I love it- No door knocker earrings but my old house had those cabinet "knobs" in my 1920's house that I think were original to the house. They were in a bathroom. Love the earrings but have never seen them- xo Diana ps...I probably have some old shoulder pads I could send you- Otherwise just stick a maxi pad under your bra strap and no one will be the wiser-;>) xo Diana
