(My favorite book on blue and white.)
My love of blue and white began
years ago and has never lessened.
I thought I would share some of my favorite inspiration photos
from my Pinterist Board,
Blue and White Favorites,
and photos from Carolyne Roehm’s book
A Passion for Blue and White.

I have had so much fun through the years with my own blue and white.
I loved creating this arrangement of my summer zinnias in this blue and white bowl,
the many rearrangements I have created in the Nap Room,
in gathering tablescape items for a dear friend’s
daughter’s engagement party,
and in the daily inspiration I get from using my
Spode Blue Italian every day.

I love your stunning vignette in your nap room. Looks like a page out of a magazine!
ReplyDeleteYour blog inspires me! I love the blue and white dishes. They seem so alive and crisp!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
Do you like all blue and white ceramics, porcelain, ironstone? Is there a particular thing you don't like, for example "madeinChina?" I have several small pieces of blue and white that I have that Iwould love to send to you that have been in shop for awhile. If you feel comfortable, send me your snail-mail address, please. I love to give away things that aren't selling for me that someone else may like. And I LOVE your blog and would like to do this.
ReplyDeleteThe blue and white combination has always been my favorite. I was lucky enough to win Carolyn Roehm's book and have spent quite a bit of time leafing through it. In china, fabric - whatever - blue and white make me happy.
ReplyDeleteIts all very pretty but my fav is your nap room vignette.
ReplyDeleteYou...and the knowledge that when you love something...or somebody...it's forever. True blue you are and I feel safe because of it.

I must admit that my blue & white passion has waxed and waned over the years...only to come back. I gave a lot of my china/collection to my daughter and often wish I had it back. Yours is beautiful and photo layout worthy! Gorgeous! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI share your love of blue and white and for Carolyn Roehm. "A Passion for Blue and White " is the only book of hers I do not have. The pic of the avocados and tomatoes make my mouth water! Great vignettes.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are wonderful and everything looks so pretty. I've never been a blue & white person but have a close friend who has a collection. I tend to go with bright colors...red and yellow being my favorites. Yet, when I see pictures like these it makes me wonder if I should change my preferences!
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful combination of colors, I agree.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! I actually have a collection of blue and white pottery - but I try to keep the pieces on the small side since I don't have a lot of storage space.
ReplyDeleteThis entire post inspires me! Lovely!
