I don’t have any answers.
I need your help-
#1. I have lost my Followers box, which may or may not be God’s lesson
in humility,
HOWEVER,
has this happened to anyone else?
#2. I have been trying to back-up my blog,
but my blogger taskbar has disappeared, and I can’t log on to my dashboard
to do anything about that.
Any suggestions???
How can I back-up my content if I can’t log on to blogger?
(I post through Windows Live Writer)
Same thing has happened to me since yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBlogger must be having some issues again. I know Sheila at Note Songs lost her followers, too. I don't have any answers though, but you aren't alone. I sure hope they get this fixed.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is having some issues. Try to be patient for them to get it back before you change anything.

Laura, go to buzzblogger.com which is the blog that reports issues going on. I looked and did not see anything reported about the followers issue. You should go to that site and let them know.

ReplyDeleteHi Laura, for about the past 6 weeks I have had issues with seeing my followers (I know, keeps you humble!). Sometimes they appear, but mostly they don't! I can see yours right now (9:13am, Friday, May 28). Oddly, when I posted the problem, everyone said they could see my followers, but I couldn't. What in the world? I had grown accustomed to it - crazy! Linda

ReplyDeleteHi Laura. I can't see your followers and I can't see mine either. In fact, I've noticed that I can't see anyone's. I'm not sure about your other problem, I know a lot of people are having commenting issues, but I've figured out that when you log in to blogger and uncheck the box that says "stay logged in" everything is find :)

Same here girl friend! Also for days I could not leave comments or follow any new blogs, I unchecked the little box that keeps you logged in and it fixed that problem, but now my followers are MIA.

The problem with the followers box happens every once in a while on Blogger. It will come back. Trust me. I've lost mine at least 10 times over 3 years, and every time it has come back.

I don't have my followers on my sidebar any more so I can't tell about mine, but I was curious to know if some of bloggers problems stem from the awful storms around the country. It makes you wonder where some of their techs might live. I think sometimes I take this wonderful Blogger for granted!

Mine disappears from time to time, it always seems to pop back up....don't stress yourself over it.

ReplyDeleteHey Laura, I just read something this morning that sounds like it might relate to that. Something to do with whether or not you access from blogspot.com(?) I read it here http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/2011/05/blog-owners-unable-to-login-to-blogger_27.html. I can't see anyone's followers but I do have a navbar. Haven't tried to sign in from there today, though.

ReplyDeleteThis is happening all around the blogosphere. Your followers gadget will come back, sooner or later. As for not being able to sign in, try using a different browser than usual. This usually fixes that problem. Hang in there, and have a happy holiday!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I was just visiting another friend's blog and I noticed her box was invisible. I wonder if blogger is having a hiccup. I pray it will all get worked out swiftly.

ReplyDeleteIt's a mystery.
I'm always "losing" my Followers box, but it is usually exclusive to my desktop computer. When I log in on my laptop--voila!--it's there. I think that may have something to do with computer "stuff", but I have heard other bloggers mention some issues this week. I've not had those, but one never knows what might happen tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteHope you've solved the problem, by now. If not, try typing your blog's URL into the Google search bar and go to your blog that way, and your followers will show up. You can also sign into Blogger there, too. It's all so weird! lol

I lost mine too 4 days ago and couldn't comment either but today? I got everything back..it just magically appeared back on my dashboard! Must be a goofy blogger thing since their big crash last week..
ReplyDeleteI've been having the same problem with my followers, but today they came back!!! I don't know if I "helped" that or not. I was reading on blogger HELP and some were saying to delete your history and your cookies. I did that and sure enough when I went to my blog my followers were back!!! Could have been coincidence but you might try it. I still can't log in with my google account to leave comments but I can log in with my name and URL. Blogger has been having issues since about the 24th of May and many are having similar problems. They are "supposed" to be working on it. I don't use the writer thing you mentioned. Good luck!
