If you have only had a margarita in a restaurant,
then may I say,
with all due respect,
you have not had a margarita.
Enjoy!

Home-made is best. Drinks in restaurants are not only expensive but inferior to what can be easily made at home. This reminds me when I was a Director of Nursing I used to make pitchers of Cosmos after work. Thank God I only do those because I am entertaining now.
ReplyDeletesounds good....and the Motown too...
ReplyDeleteI have not had one in years, but had to laugh when read this post. My daughter use to be a bartender, made the comment recently that tequila was evil! :-D
ReplyDeleteI will give this to my daughter..the one that loves margaritias...If she doesn't drink it then I will know she is pregnant...something she waits to tell me and spring it on me when I am least expecting it! lol Thanks- Diana
ReplyDeleteI use a similar recipe, except it calls for 1/2 can of triple sec and one can of beer (Corona). I usually serve them on the rocks, so yummy!
ReplyDeleteTwo posts in one day! Just how many of those margaritas have YOU had?
ReplyDeleteDebbie
We use the small can of limeade plus 2 shots each of tequila and triple sec (instead of a full can). They are delicious! I bet yours can knock you on your butt! :)
ReplyDeleteOf course I know a good margarita! Remember, I'm a Texas girl! LOL

Okay Miss Laura, when and what time is the party? Those margarita's must be delicious! Your blender or ours??
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Nancy
I guess I've never had a margarita! I'll be right down for a lesson with the blender.
ReplyDeleteI tested your recipe .... now where are my car keys? NOT.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Are those really the measurements for the ingredients? Make no wonder Jimmy Buffet was 'wasting away".
ReplyDelete(I'll be over after work; put clean sheets in the guest room 'cause I won't be leaving tonight!)
OK. This is the best ranch recipe yet!!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I haven't "really" had a margarita then!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I have one question, Miss Laura. When does the party begin???

I'm on my way!:) I love margaritas! There is a restaurant in Houston called "Chuy's" and I think they have the best margaritas aside from the homemade ones. Oh my gosh, i've never tasted a better margarita. Have a good weekend. :)
