One of my favorite times of day
is right at dusk.
There is still enough light to
work in the garden,
but it is dark enough that I can turn on the little white lights
in my garden shed.
It is a humble place, but
as you know by now,
that is my
favorite kind.
I have posted reminders
to keep things simple while
I think,
plan,
work, pray.
It is also where I
dance,
sing,
and arrange things .
I realized recently I have a collection of
treasures in green.
I found many of these things in a crate
that was my mother’s.
Tomorrow afternoon I will be spending
the afternoon here.
There is work to do.

The green tray with the white roses is my favorite. What a pretty place to work (play).
That looks like a truly magical place.
That looks a fun place to hang out! I love the tray with the flowers on it:)
How wonderful! Lovely treasures of your mother's.
Beautiful treasures to find.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
I don't have a garden shed, but rather a work bench in the corner of the garage. And it needs to be cleaned up. I've much work to do as well. Geraniums to plant! Love this time of year. ~ Sarah
Your garden shed is wonderful. I would love to have a place like that to work in and make all pretty. Your green pieces are great.
You definitely have some great treasures in your garden shed! I love your work bench too!
I think I have seen your shed before and I love it. We all need our personal spaces and this looks like it is it for you!

A lovely working place dear Laura!
We're finally planting the vegetable garden next weekend... the Mesquite trees are budding out.. a sure-fire indication that all chance of freeze has finally passed! Now if I could just get myself a groovy garden shed like my friend Laura... hummmmmm... "oh Ricky... I've got a little project for ya honey..."... ;) hugs.
What a lovely place to work, dream and relax Laura! I love how you have decorated it.
Oh Laura, I love your shed and how you've used your mom's beautiful things in there. Why not? You spend so much time in there and it brings you such joy, you should surround yourself with beautiful memories.
Laura, I LOVE your shed and I wish I could pull up a chair and sit there with you! I love that you have all your Mom's stuff there and love the green!!! How perfect for a garden shed! Hugs- Diana
Your garden shed and what not...are truly a blessed place to be. I know you love the outdoors, I do too. It's our quiet place, it's a place for our quiet time, just our time, right Miss Laura?

This is so inspiring! It inspires me for the future, to make something wonderful out of our garden shed, the little house that was once my daughter's playhouse, but that she has since outgrown. Thanks for the beautiful ideas. I had forgotten to check your blog, until you stopped by mine tonight, and now I'm totally addicted and will be reading more regularly. Forgive my absence. It's difficult to keep up with everything.
Many blessings to you and yours,
Linda
