Home Sweet Home

IMG_1311

After a wonderful trip to the beach , I am grateful to be home.

I cooked (because I wanted to) and read and loved on my girls and grandsons- as much as they would let me- for an entire week.

After eating wonderful salads twice, at the Corner Market on Greenville in Dallas earlier this month, I was inspired to make:

Broccoli Salad with golden raisins , almonds and Poppy Seed dressing

Chicken Salad with Red Grapes, Celery, and Walnuts

Tortellini Salad with Artichokes and Parmesan Cheese

Tuna Salad

Pasta Salad with Black Olives

and I had a tub of

Price’s Pimiento Cheese

For dessert?

Blue Bell in bed, of course.

2 very cute little boys! Sounds like you had a nice and relaxing vacation.
I just took inventory of what I need to buy at the grocery to make more salads.
Have a great week.

I am so glad that you added that you cooked "because you wanted to." For 25 years I cooked well because I had to feed a family. I love cooking but not because I have to, I love to cook when I want to. It's so much more fun and rewarding!

Gosh Laura I've missed you bunches and bunches. But you were busy with the 'important things' I see. It sounds like you had a wonderful time.
Your grandsons are adorable! I bet they hated to see you go.

YUMMY Laura, including the delicious grandsons!
I am SO in the mood for recipes like this. Just got back from Savannah, last night, where I enjoyed the best pimiento cheese sandwiches and chicken salad, too. Thanks for sharing, and welcome home : ) xx Suzanne

Third...you must try the chicken salad with pineapple and walnuts...2die4!
Last but not least...Price's...is there any better besides homemade?

White spray paint, what an intriguing name! I have a friend who once said "If I don't like something, I just spray paint it." Made us all crack up at the time and just one of those lines that makes you realize why they are your friend in the first place.

Thanks for stopping by my WW post and following.
Love the blue bell in bed picture, looks well deserved!
Susanne.

White aerosol paint is a popular product for self-implementation work, as it provides excellent coverage, creating a clean, laconic look. It can be used to restore furniture or to design ornaments, among other uses. If you do not bear any special interest in your creative work, then hiring a book writing service will help you bring out the best out of you and create an exciting and comprehensive guide.
