This evening, after an afternoon of gathering supplies and looking through what I had, I wanted to add some touches of spring to the house. I had green and white on my mind , and it wouldn’t leave. So I began to play.
I found some very affordable faux greenery stems and floral pieces, and I wanted to use these stone pieces.
And so I started playing.
I originally planned to use a piece of the striped fabric to create a runner, but I didn’t want to cut it. I kept the 4 yards in one piece to use as a tablecloth.
(Photography note: Photos at night never work out too well for me.)
In the entry I combined as many green things as I could find.
I love mixing high and low like crystal and terracotta.
And then I did something with the dining table.
It never stops does it?

Great photos Laura. I really like your style. Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. Hope you'll be back for a visit soon. You might like my garden posts.
I LOVE the green and white, and I'm really lovin' that green majolica plate of yours. I don't blame you for not wanting to cut that great piece of material. Love your fuzzy rocks in your apothecary jar!
Hope you're having a good week,
love ya dear,
Debra
OOH LAH LAH, looks gorgeous! Great job dear Laura, come do my house next... please:) Love all the green! Have a blessed day my friend!
I love the green and white for spring!
Laura, I like the fact that you scrunched up that fabric instead of cutting it. It makes for a different textured look, plus like you said, you can re-use it whole. Love the green and white touches. Linda
Love green and white -- it's such a soothing combination to me. Love your Spring "fluffing".
White and green lokks so "springy". Happy WW.
What a great idea, I would not think of leaving the material in one piece, but you created and displayed it very nice...and it really did bring Spring in!~ Thanks for sharing!
I love redoing things each season like you do - love the green and white idea. Beautiful.

Great job, Laura! Your fabric is beautiful! I don't think I'd cut it either.:)
Great look Laura! That green and white fabric is just gorgeous, love the draped look!
I hate to cut fabric...even when it's bought for a project! Love the green...my favorite shade of green as a matter of fact.
