My Garden Shed

        One of the things blogging has freed me to do is show the less than perfect, because after all that is where the best living takes place.  Some of my best living takes place in my garden shed.

        This is a small peek.

          It is here where I do some of my puttering and planning. I have great plans for this space-

*my own little patio outside its doorway

*a fence to enclose the patio

*a stenciled rug on the concrete floor

         This is where I store my garden tools and whatever else doesn’t have a home.

     

        This is where I also store my flea market carts and beverage holder for Canton and Round Top trips (when I remember to put it in the car).

        It is where I plan, play, and ponder.

 

        This shed is the source of my dancing in the yard music.

        If you haven’t tried dancing in the yard, I strongly recommend it.

        Your music machine needs to be old.  Older boom boxes have the best speakers.  My husband has listened to many non-televised football games and Indianapolis 500 races , while sitting on the patio listening to this radio.

        This is where I keep some of my older, worn treasures from trips to San Miguel de Allende.

        This is also where I get lessons in humility- because nature and heat and gardening in South Texas can be a very humbling experience.
