First of all, may I say thank you for making this past year of blogging a wonderful journey of expression and writing for me.
January 3rd is my one year blog anniversary.
I am constantly humbled by all of the creative talent, expression, and generosity that exists in the world of blogging.
To celebrate, I am giving away a Blog Makeover by the amazing Jackie at Memories by Design ( a $35 package). It doesn’t have to be a makeover in terms of how your blog looks (they are all beautiful by the way).
The winner can utilize the package in a variety of ways. Jackie is wonderful and PATIENT. Again, she is very good, and PATIENT. I know. I tested her patience, I am sure…
To enter the giveaway, just comment on this post.
Two have two entries, just become a follower. The winner will be announced Wednesday, January 6th. Good luck!

This is part of my silver/silver plate collection. I seem to have a thing for chafing dishes… as described in this previous post.

I don’t care if it is tarnished either. Remember my box of silver plate flatware from the flea market? I almost rubbed off the pads of my fingertips trying to polish it , and then I thought: it is what it is.
I can’t wait to see everyone else’s posts for Silver Sunday.
Go visit our great hostess Beth at Gypsy Fish to see who else has joined the party. Just click on the button at the top of my sidebar.
Hey Laura, I have that same toile on a couch of mine. I just love it.

Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat are the chances of me stumbling across your blog on this very day?! It must be fate. You have such a lovely, civilized blog. I must say that the quality of your photographs and the ease of your prose is something that I aspire to. Elegant, yet approachable.
Have you ever read the book The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron? Your commitment to your blog, over the past year, is a living example of Cameron's message. Honing our creative talents requires commitment and focus, which sounds counter-intuitive to the creative process to many. But Cameron's message would not be lost on you. Kudos to your diligence and kudos to your beautiful creative eye.
My Warmest Regards,
Denise Burks
