Pillows in the kitchen? Sure- why not. My Ruby Tuesday post is all about that this morning.
If you want to see more red, go to the wonderful Work of the Poet.
My daughters and I all have a set of Martha Stewart creamy white wicker ,and we have all used these pieces in different areas of our home.
Daughter #1 has it painted black and out on a balcony of her two story home. Daughter #2 has moved hers all over her apartment (go visit www.threehermanas.blogspot.com for a great new post), and daughter #3 is using it in a small study area of her apartment.
Mine is in my kitchen, covered in red pillows.
This is one of my favorite places in my home. Why? I can still see- in my mind’s eye- my teacher friends sitting here visiting during my yearly teachers’ Christmas Party.

I love it! I have some of the same materials. You can't go wrong with that combination of wicker and beautiful pillows.
I'm a wicker lover also, with a real addiction. Your pillows are so inviting, and I love your red walls!

Hi Laura, We have a swap meet here in town on Sunday mornings, weather permitting, but most of this haul came from a flea in town that is the kind of place that's hit or miss. I guess I timed it right! They have some great bargains, but at times you really have to dig. My husband is into Civil War items and relics so he goes with me on the weekends. That's our fun time together. (plus, I get him to carry stuff back to the car. tehe)

It's toile! Please forgive me that was my dinner wine speaking.
Hi Laura, what a pretty spot! I love the red walls and all the toile! It looks very comfy and cozy!
Do you remember where you got that pillow that's pictured second from the bottom? The red toile one? I found one at the thrift store months ago and it's my favorite pillow and I've been looking for another but the tag seems to have been cut off. So I don't have any info on it.
You asked me when do I blog? I don't see an email for you so I'll answer you here. I usually write my posts in the a.m. after I exercise and I usually check on other blogs throughout the day as I have time. I'd say it usually takes me an hour to write a post and it might take me 30 min to do the photographs for a post. It varies depending on the subject. I always have 3 or 4 posts already started though. Some days I spend no time blogging and other days I spend several hours blogging. Hope that answers your question if not just shoot me an email.

Omg, Laura! Beautiful pillows in such a charming nook. I would love to have a corner like this in my kitchen. And isn't that the red toile and floral fabric that you bought on your trip?! The pillows came out lovely!! You are too much!!!
