I am back home, tired and happy, after a wonderful weekend trip with daughters, garage sales, multiple Dairy Queens while traveling, breakfast at Cafe Brazil (my favorite breakfast place)while in Dallas, and Canton.
It is an 8 hour drive one way (from where I live)- if you do not stop. I repeat- if you do not stop. I am a stopper…
One of my favorite side trips was visiting fabric warehouses in Dallas.
The clincher was this: the fabric was $3-$5 a yard and in one store, if you bought at least 5 yards, it was $2 a yard. This is what I got.
Red toile- $5 a yard- This may go on a couch.
Pinky red remnant-$2 a yard- this may go on dining table chair seats.
Medallion fabric-$3 a yard- this may go on dining table chair seats.

Next I found ANOTHER fabric that I may use on my dining table chair seats, and I love this. It was $2 a yard. You may have noticed a pattern. Apparently I will be covering millions of chair seats.
And I couldn’t resist this at $2 a yard for my grandsons. I am going to make 2 blankets.
Two grandsons=2 blankets=no fighting over blankets, right???
Now I need to get busy…
