This is a favorite quilt top, and when I look at it, I really do see pink. Maybe because I look for it. Remember those cardboard kaleidoscopes we had as children?
Hi Laura! What a beautiful quilt top! It does look like a kaleidoscope! I see pink, too! lol I have an old quilt made by my great grandmother when she was 16...such a treasure! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!...Debbie
That is such a beautiful quilt. The amount of work that goes into something like that is amazing and one of the reasons I love seeing quilts. Thank you for sharing yours. laurie
Hi Ms. Laura! I have a tiny piece of a quilt in this exact pattern. It was made by Steve's great grandmother who was gone long before I met and married him. Steve's mother FOOLISHLY (but lovingly) used the quilt and was a washing machine WASHER of the best kind. So....all that is left now is a small square...maybe about 30" x 45". It is lovely.
Thank you for sharing! I look for the PINK in everything, too!
I see pink, but it's the green that really stands out in my eyes.
Thanks for leaving such nice comments on my blog! I'm freaking out that I have an English teacher READING my blog.;D I imagine you grading me...hehehe! Actually, my father was a teacher and I often wonder what he would think if he were here to read my posts! I think his head would drop and he'd mumble something about where he'd gone wrong! LOL! Anyways, thanks for stopping by and I look forward to getting to know you. Have a nice evening!
Because of you...I have gone white, white, white...and I am giving you credit on my project for Met Monday.. I need to get over here more often..I LOVE your blog! I mean that! YOU inspired me! ~smiles~ Mona
