In yesterday’s post regarding Pozole, I mentioned menudo spice, and I wanted to share information about my favorite spice company.
A previous post says it all, and if you don’t mind the inconvenience, refer to the link provided for my March 19th post:La India Spice Company.
The web site is listed there.
By the way- I love that spice company for two reasons not associated with the quality of its spices, although the quality is excellent.
I love this company because of a personal experience I had there and because of its label.

I've never tried menudo spice mix before. Perhaps I should.
I am a spice addict. I'll have to give them a try!
thanks for the link! It's always great to see a new spice company....
Thanks for the link to the spice company, Laura. I'll check it out. I often go to a place in Cincinnati called Jungle Jim's to buy some of my spices and chiles. They carry food supplies from all over the world. For the most part, I just have them shipped to me from NM or bring them back when I visit. We should compare some recipes!! :-) Sue
I totally understand about being 'choosey' with spices. I feel that way about black pepper, cinnamon and chili powder. Mother always used a specific brand of these and now, nothing tastes the same!
Bless you,
Susan
I see they sell it at HEB. I'll check there for it.
Thanks for the tip. I love the logo too.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours looks very interesting and I will stick around! I started Weight Watchers in Sept. 2007, and lost 40 lbs. by June 2008. Although I never "quit", I stopped going to meetings and seriously following and ended up gaining back 10 lbs. I started back to meetings last month and want to get back to the -40 mark by July 4th. I've been having that apple oatmeal almost every day for breakfast for the last few weeks!
Laura,
I remember these from your earlier post; I would buy them just for their neat labels! This is my first visit since my trip so I am having fun playing catch up between loads of laundry. I love your blue and white dishes and can relate about being worn out and how chocolate makes everything so much better! I also hope your father is doing better and your wedding shower turned out well. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. ~Cathy~
